Site Launch: Girls Travel Club

We have just launched a cool new site called www.girlstravelclub.co.uk. It’s a hybrid site catering for travelers of the fairer sex - but I guess there is plenty there for guys too. It’s a shop selling travel products, it’s a blog, its an info portal and other things as well. Technically there is nothing too new to it, but it’s a well thought out site, I think.

One new thing we had to do with this was make the Girls Travel Club Blog fit in the theme of the rest of the site (unlike this or our other blogs, for example). It’s not hard to do but it makes a big difference to the site experience. The blog is good reading:)

More and more its striking my just how much pure old fashioned leg work is needed to make even the best designed site a success . And Becci is keen and driven to this, so most of her time now is spent “web schmoosing” to get relevant and interested links in and out.
